The changes needed for the property can be broken into 3 parts. The Sanctuary building, the exterior and the classroom building.

The sanctuary building needs lighted exit signs and hardwired smoke/CO detectors. 2 of the doors need changed to outward opening. One may be able to use existing door and casing, the other will need a new door and casing. All doors will need the hardware changed to meet ADA compliance. The step down at each door will need to be fixed. Currently the drop is from 3 to 6 inches high. The regulations call for a maximum of ½ inch threshold.

The exterior needs the lawn sprinkler system fixed. (One of the controls does not turn off. The landscaping will need updated to meet the plans. A deck will need to be built between the two buildings and a ramp will need to be built.

The classroom building needs the exit signs and smoke/CO detectors installed. The restrooms will need to be updated to ADA compliance. The step down will need fixed at each door. All hardware on all doors will need replaced.

We are still waiting for a response from the fire district consultant regarding any changes they need

 

Along with the upgrades needed to get a use permit the property also needs regular maintenance that has been postponed. The exterior needs prepped and painted. Grass and plants need replaced. Gutters need to be cleaned out and repaired. Rugs need vacuumed and shampooed.
